Come and see how clean our school is!!!!! I feel reborn (do we believe in that?). Rudy has been painting and patching every classroom. They look beautiful!! When you see him please tell him so. He is very proud of all his work.

I have cleaned and emptied every drawer and cabinet in all the rooms. It is amazing what one finds in the back of a forgotten cabinet. First, I found lots of old food (dating all the way back to 1998 – nasty!!!! I promise I will not put it in the food bank). Second, I found money. Don’t worry; we still have to pay our Temple dues for the coming year. Third, I found lots of old pictures. I will hand these over to our wonderful volunteers in the archives. I believe some of the pictures could be of them.

Now that I have cleaned, it is time to organize. All the supplies will be inventoried and labeled. Hopefully the teachers will find it easier to find what they seek for their classrooms. Believe it or not, I feel a little bit more confidant with my position here at Temple now that I know where everything is. By the time you read this article, I will already be sending out the enrollment forms for the upcoming school year. Lots of new and exciting changes!! I will tell you all about them next month.

Speaking of the upcoming year, we have finally hired our Curriculum Director. (Yeah!!) Ruth Kurlandsky has joined our school staff and will be bringing all her vast knowledge and talents to help support our teachers in the education of their students. More indepth details to come.

It looks as if we will have a large class of students for our pre-school program!! The school is growing!!

We will be meeting with all of our teachers in small groups to brainstorm ideas for the coming year. Anything and everything is possible!!!

Come by and visit me. I am usually here Tuesday thru Friday. As I have mentioned many times before, we need input!!! If you don’t speak up about your ideas for the school then they probably won’t happen. I believe that our school will be larger and more fantastic than ever for the 2005/2006 school year!!
