Temple Emanuel Celebrates 150 Years with a year long celebration of events...

Friday December 15 We honor June Horowitz, longtime Temple historian, at a night of Magic, just as Chanukah begins. Services start at 6:00 PM in the Barbara Padnos Family Religious School Wing. A catered dinner by Gourmet to Go begins at 6:30 PM. A Night of Magic is presented by entertainer, comedian, and magician Bob Blount at 7:45 PM

Sunday January 21 Barbara Robinson shares the history of Temple Emanuel at a special breakfast beginning at 10:00 AM

Sunday January 28 Scribe Neil Yerman returns to Temple to continue writing our new Torah with our membership. Call the Temple office to schedule your appointment to write a letter.

Friday February 16 We honor our teachers at a special Shabbat Service. The Shir Shalom Choir will sing.

Saturday March 3 We celebrate our members as we celebrate Purim with a night of visual and performing arts.

Friday March 23 We honor all of our members married at Temple or married by one of the rabbis of Temple Emanuel.

Friday April 20 We celebrate the completion of the writing of our new Torah with a special service and program.

Sunday April 29 The Opening of the 150th Anniversary Finkelstein Archives display in the Titche Family Multi Purpose Room.

Friday May 18 Our 150th Anniversary Weekend begins with a special Shabbat Service. Rabbi Eric Yoffie, President of the Union for Reform Judaism will be our guest speaker.

Saturday May 19 Our 150th Anniversary Weekend continues with a gala celebration at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.

Sunday May 20 Our 150th Anniversary Weekend continues with a concert and lunch for all the students of Beit Sefer B'yachad.
