Adult Education

Temple Emanuel offers numerous educational programs and often teams with other Grand Rapids' Jewish Organizations to bring noted authors, philosophers, theologians, historians and consultants to enrich the learning opportunities of the West Michigan Jewish Community.

Adult educational programs include discussions and seminars developed by both Rabbi Schadick and Dr. Lewis, Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Emanuel. Other Temple Emanuel members with particular expertise and faculty from nearby universities also develop programs.

Temple Emanuel Religious School

Beginning in the 2006-2007 school year Temple Emanuel joined with the Conservative Congregation Ahavas Israel to form Beit Sefer B'Yachad, United Jewish School.
