Temple Emanuel owns land at the Oakhill City Cemetery, on Eastern Avenue and Hall Street. The cemetery committee oversees the sale and maintenance of burial lots. Please contact the Temple office for a copy of the Cemetery and Burial Policy. The most traumatic time to purchase a burial plot is when the actual need occurs. We encourage members to make arrangements for a cemetery plot long before the need arises.

The Cemetery Committee can help assure that all burial sites comply with the rules of the City of Grand Rapids Park Department regarding the size and placement of grave markers and flower containers. Head stones must be purchased through the Cemetery Committee.
